This company was created for many reasons, but one of the most important is to give something treasured to the world! These products are truly here as a service to others.  Our hearts are excitedly in this company and the good it provides for others. 

   Having a tremendous passion for the preservation of historical varieties of food/plants that are disappearing at a very alarming rate from the world's crops, we save seeds for our own use -- present and for the future -- and here we have put together a company for you to join us in enjoyment and preservation. You may save seeds from your open pollinated and heirloom plants to protect the future of all. Genetic diversity in crops is very important to be prepared for the unknown on a global scale. Additionally, the flavor of these wonderful old-time crops is incredibly rich and unadulterated. Instead of just looking pretty, they have depth of flavor and vigor in their own unique way!

   We specifically put a lot of energy into unique tomato varieties and are carefully saving seeds from each tomato that is worthy of having its seeds saved. Some varieties are safe between some of the larger companies out there. We focus on the more unique. Saving tomato seeds can be tedious and time consuming when doing it by the box, but we love the incredible feeling of joy that comes with seeing the saved and fermented seeds waiting for their turn to grow and produce! Thinking to our ancestors who cherished many of these varieties and depended on them to feed their families so saved each and every seed knowing it would be the life-line for feeding their off-spring. Our hearts are dedicated to these great people of the past.

   Located on the Front Range of the Rockies in Colorado,  growing in Zone 5, most of the seeds that we bring in to round out the vegetable varieties are also from Zone 5.  Our plants are grown as 'organically' as Mother Nature allows!  We absolutely disapprove of GMO production. No GMO or hybrids are sold through us. We believe in being self-reliant and providing wonderfully nutritious, fresh food for our families! We do much to preserve our garden for year-round use.
