This cabbage has a long history! It originated in England in the late 1700's and has been cultivated in the US since the 1830's. Small pointed heads have a mild flavor and mature without splitting due to their easily managed size of 2-3 lb. This variety has dark green leaves on the outside and creamy light green inside. For those who like mild flavored cabbage in small portions, this is an excellent variety to grow. Shorter season also is excellent for those who need to work around the heat of summer.
